Human Resources Officer
Purpose
Human Resources Officer Jobs To provide efficient and effective human resources service to the directors and employees. Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
FutureSoft is the Leader in the South African Debt Recovery Software Industry. Excalibur is currently employed as the Call Centre, Legal and Debt Collection Management System of choice by numerous Law Firms and Debt Collection Agencies across South Africa. In addition, many large South African Corporates have installed Excalibur to deal with their own early delinquency debtors.
• Full recruitment process (develop and update job specifications, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, credit checks, appointments)
• Induction
• On-boarding (first 3 months conduct monthly check-ins and ensure system training is received by new starters)
• Off-boarding (off-board employees, conduct exit interviews and feedback to board of directors)
• Disciplinary (draft and issue warnings, implement corrective measures, prepare disciplinary hearing packs, attend disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings and CCMA hearings)
• Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures
• Meetings – HR observer and contributor in mentoring sessions, performance management sessions and other HR related meetings. Take minutes
• Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures, maintaining the company handbook
• Contribute to HR projects
• Monthly reports to board of directors
• Prepare salaries and submit to payroll for processing
• Employee Benefits (process Liberty pension fund monthly, add new starters and submit withdrawals)
• Leave Management (maintain ESS system, monitor leave)
• Submit EE reports and facilitate meetings
• Submit WSP/ATR
• Plan and schedule internal and external training
• Maintain and develop the personnel filing system
• Perform Ad hoc administration to maintain the HR Department
• Facilitate Social Committee Meetings
• Schedule and facilitate KPA sessions
Key Requirements:
• Matric
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR and administration
• HR Tertiary qualification
• Fluent in English
• Attention to detail
• Maintain high level of confidentiality at all times
• Strong ethics and reliability
• Strong administration & staff compliance skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledgeable about BCEA, LRA, SDA,COIDA, EE
